Status: Completed 2012
Located in the arts district of Culver City, the design continues the existing urban fabric by creating a perceived storefront at street level. This entry courtyard activates the street edge by catering to pedestrian traffic. Parking is accessed thru the back alley, with the office spaces elevated to the second floor. Public spaces such as the lobby and conference room are contained in a redwood box that projects out to wrap around the entry stair. A second courtyard at the office level creates a private outdoor retreat.
